The Wells-Palmer Theorem, E²+3S+2C+U=90% SUCCESS, is my personal formula for success. One of the essential ingredients in the formula is consistency. I realize I have not been feeding our relationship consistently. This blogging thing has been quite inconsistent. I can make a myriad of excuses and a list of reasons, but none will justify you not hearing from me.
As I sit here reflecting on what makes me not be inconsistent and how did I fall off on my weekly blog, I realize the real issue is a lack of commitment, maybe even fear of success. Fear definitely is the culprit. I definitely know overthinking, chasing perfection, is what made me not blog one day…and now it’s been months. I apologize. The thinking was to not publish a blog on the same day as podcast day. I felt I would be better to do it Friday or something… Or something…. Lovebugs, something nor someday are on NOT days the calendar! If you intend on getting something done, put it on the calendar.
The question that remains is, how do we start being and remain consistent? We must get disciplined with our thinking, planning and behavior. It takes heart to be disciplined, but it is sooooooo worth it. Any habit we want to instill, we must practice it daily. Listen Lovebug, if you miss a day, don’t miss two! If we want to increase our level of results, we have to establish new habits to supplant old habits and to create a new paradigm. It's like rebranding yourself.
“Your brand is what other people say about you when you're not in the room.” “A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well.” -Jeff Bezos
Therefore, first we must think about what or how do we desire to be known? If someone were to describe your character to a complete stranger, what would you want reported? Now act accordingly…
Again, Lovebug, I do apologize for the long time, no hear. Talk to you soon. And hope to see you on the meditation call!
